12:00 Noon lunch with your grade school class

Each of the feeder grade schools for AHS will have a chairman who will let you know time and place of the 'no host' luncheon. If you didn't go to grade school in EP, ask to join a group.

5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Cocktail party with heavy hors d'oeuvres

7:00 to 8:00 PM Entertainment by Guitarists Bob and Brian Adams

8:00 PM Resume eating, drinking and visiting

9:00 AM El Paso 'Que Paso?'

What has been happening in and around El Paso in the last 50 years? Hear talks by local experts on thought-provoking issues facing the border region. Location is the Camino Real, Pancho Villa Room.

Afternoon - Arrange to re-visit your home town

The El Paso Visitor's Bureau headquarters, located next to the Camino Real, has information on points of interest in the El Paso area. Suggestions include the Magoffin Home State Historic Site (this is a Territorial-style homestead of a founder of El Paso - near downtown), El Paso Museum of Art (near the Camino Real, home to part of the Kress Collection of Italian Renaissance art as well as contemporary art), Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens on the UTEP campus,El Paso Museum of Archaeology on Transmountain Road at eastern edge of the Franklin Mountains, Old Ft. Bliss Museum, a recreation of the post as it appeared from 1854 to 1868, located at modern Ft. Bliss. Short drives include McKelligon Canyon Park, Scenic Drive, and Transmountain Road. Longer excursions include the Mission Trail, Hueco Tanks, and Tigua Indian Cultural Center at Ysleta del Sur Pueblo

5:30 PM Bus leaves from Camino Real Hotel for Ardovino's Desert Crossing, Sunland Park, N.M.

6:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Dinner, a short program, and music and dancing by Slackbilly Band.

Price $60. Cash Bar. Dress is casual. Buses return to Camino Real from Ardovino's at 11:00 PM.

9:30 AM Guided tour of The Plaza Theatre

Visit this magnificantly restored theater, now home to the EP symphony, road shows and the movies. Location: Near the Camino Real. Afterwards, meet at the hotel to say goodby.

Our Reunion Headquarters

Our 50th Reunion headquarters will be at the Camino Real Hotel formerly, The Paso Del Norte located at 101 South El Paso Street, El Paso, Texas 79901. The hotel is holding a limited number or rooms for a time at $89 for a double. Identify yourself as part of the Austin Reunion to get this rate.
